Alex was raised in Pasadena, California, and raised in the Los Angeles suburb of Hancock Park. Her father is Dr. Charles B. Witt is a highly regarded Los Angeles thoracic physician. Colette Witt is her mother. Charles Witt is Witt's oldest brother, and Walter Witt is her younger sister. Witt could also be related to George Washington, the first president of the United States. Her family's lineage is derived from George Washington, and she is also a part of the National Society of Washington Family Descendedance. Witt is currently being married to Bill Sorensen, who works as a television producer. The couple has an infant daughter called Caroline Sorensen and a son named Charlie Sorensen. The couple is blessed with two children. They're Charlie Sorensen (son) and Caroline Sorensen.
