Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast on One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. On the episodes she was seen performing her first country album. The album with the same name was ranked within the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached into the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love the country genre. Then she decided to pursue a record career. However, her first role acting in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead in 2002 when still a teenager. Guest spots on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she landed the recurring part of Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season, 2007-2008. Kramer appeared in 90210 from 2008 to 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played Alex Dupre. The show lasted show until the end of 2012 when the show ended. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern country love song I Won't Give Up. It was later included in Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in 2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it in the Top Five. She continued to act in films like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer's second album, Thirty One came out by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. It was boosted by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album peaked at third place on the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. In September she stayed for two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth position. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song by releasing"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
