Antonia's food is a way to enter her mind. Her interest in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas are able to coexist in harmony on the menu, an idea that has developed through the years. The dishes she serves are based on a singular vision, embracing the present and reminiscing on the past. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso and is influenced from her Italian American roots. The restaurant was greeted with the warmest welcome. Lofaso has received praise for her unique interpretation of Italian food. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent food at Scopa it is a local favorite.
